The specification claims that instruments are not free-floating: each one discharges a commitment, the commitments are the load-bearing layer, and the four dimensions of fidelity are the ground they protect. This map shows that structure so it can be inspected rather than taken on trust. Read it right to left to ask "what protects accuracy?", or left to right to ask "what does this instrument actually buy?". Tap any node to light up its chain.

What this map shows, and what it omits. It shows three tiers, the twelve instruments, the thirteen invariant commitments, and the four dimensions of fidelity, plus two off-dimension nodes (uptake, the realized test, and provenance), with an edge for every "serves" and "protects" relation stated in the specification. It omits detail that sits below its resolution floor: the seven confidence rules (CL1 to CL7) are collapsed into the single commitment they serve, C2, and the type-and-tolerance selector of section 2, which decides which instruments are active, is shown as a column note rather than a node. Two honest irregularities are drawn as they are rather than tidied: two instruments (I8 visuals, I11 navigation) serve a dimension directly, with no single commitment parent, shown as dashed crimson edges; and four nodes sit at the edge of the model and are dashed (C13, a provenance norm rather than a fidelity dimension; I12, an instrument close to invariant; and the two off-dimension nodes). Several commitments (C8, C9, C10, C13) have no instrument feeding them, because they are pure discipline that no apparatus can mechanize. That absence is information, not an omission.
